The SCA-400 conversion rate chromatograph analyzer features a compact and lightweight rapid chromatography function, enabling precise and rapid analysis of SO2 concentration, calculation of conversion rate, and determination of heat exchanger leakage and catalyst short circuit in sulfuric acid production scenarios. Based on mature micro gas chromatography (GC) technology, it meets the most challenging analysis requirements for conversion rate (SO2) in the current lean production of the sulfuric acid industry with outstanding sensitivity (10ppm) and high repeatability (±0.02%), marking a new stage for the conversion rate in the sulfuric acid industry from manual analysis to automated instrument analysis.

The SCA-400 perfectly combines powerful analytical capabilities with simple and user-friendly operation, meeting the dual demands of detection accuracy and response speed. LAS120 has achieved seamless integration of online monitoring of SO2 concentration conversion rate and real-time calculation of conversion rate. It also has the portable analysis capability of offline one machine for multiple sets of sulfuric acid devices, which is suitable for measurement of multiple sets of devices and handling of sudden working conditions. The conversion rate chromatography analyzer is equipped with a micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) -based micro-thermal conductivity detector (µTCD), with a detection limit of up to 10ppm and a sensitivity 10 times higher than that of conventional TCD. The high-temperature programmed temperature chromatographic column technology effectively enhances the separation capacity and the sensitivity of the post-elution peak, providing more sensitive and reliable analysis for highly adsorbed SO2.

The entire sampling and analysis process is automatically completed by one-click start of the instrument. The SO2 analysis speed is 95% faster than that of the iodine solution method. The segmented conversion rate analysis of a single 3+2 sulfuric acid device only takes 5 minutes to complete the full parameter output of SO2 concentration and conversion rate. The single-point analysis for sudden working conditions can complete the SO2 concentration analysis in just 50 seconds, and no manual intervention is required during the measurement process. The instrument conducts automatic analysis, greatly enhancing the analysis efficiency and data reliability.

Simple and easy to use

The operation interface is intuitive and simple, allowing users to quickly get started without professional chromatography knowledge. Analysis can be run from the front panel or from a wirelessly connected computer. The web-based chromatography software is independent of the computer operating system. It is equipped with a conversion rate calculation software that can automatically calculate the conversion rate in real time based on the SO₂ concentration at the inlet and outlet, and generate trend curves and historical data reports. It is also built with an intelligent health diagnosis system for the converter, which can evaluate the changes in catalyst activity and the operating status of the heat exchanger in real time.
